Privacy Policy

How we use personal information

We collect information you provide when you contact us or join the Founding Membership, such as your name and email address. When garden gift boxes become available, we may also collect the delivery information needed to fulfil an order.

We use this information to provide membership and customer support, process orders, communicate about your account or purchase, protect the site, and meet legal and accounting obligations. We do not receive or store full card details: payment processing is handled by Stripe.

We use trusted service providers to run the site and membership service, including Netlify for hosting, Supabase for securely storing membership records, and Stripe for payment processing. These providers only receive information needed to provide their services.

We retain information only for as long as needed for the purpose it was collected for, and retain accounting records as required by law. You can ask about the information we hold about you, request a correction, or ask about your privacy rights by emailing us.

Cookie Policy

Cookies and similar storage

This site uses necessary browser storage to remember items placed in a basket and to help the site work securely. Stripe may also use necessary technologies when you continue to its secure checkout.

We do not currently use advertising or analytics cookies. If this changes, we will update this policy and ask for consent before setting any non-essential cookies.

Founding Membership Terms

Your £3 monthly membership

The Thorn & Fable Founding Membership costs £3 per month in GBP. Payment is collected securely by Stripe and renews each month until you cancel.

Membership includes access to the private Seed & Plant Journal, occasional folklore notes and early glimpses of new collections, as described on the membership page. We may make reasonable changes to the service, but will not remove a core benefit without good reason.

You can cancel at any time by emailing hello@thornandfable.co.uk. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid monthly period, unless we agree otherwise. There is no cancellation fee, and we will confirm your cancellation in writing.

Your statutory cancellation and refund rights are not affected by these terms. If you ask us to begin supplying digital services during a statutory cancellation period, you may be liable for the proportion of the service supplied up to cancellation where the law allows this.

Gift Box Delivery, Returns & Refunds

Garden gift boxes are not currently available to order. Before they are released, this page will be updated with the final prices, delivery areas and charges, dispatch times, returns process, refund process, and any product-specific care or safety information.

When gift boxes are on sale, customers will be given the full price, delivery cost, delivery timing, and cancellation information before they place an order.
